Limited Role
The ability to heal is a power that is often wanted by many people. Over the years in roleplaying we discovered that many people want the ability to be healers. Once the sim is flooded with healers, only a few people then get to actually roleplay healing and complain about not finding roleplay in which they use their power. For this reason we have capped leaders at this time at 4. We will add more healers as the player base grows and it is needed.
This is a first come first serve situation. We do ask that all our healers work in the Medicus,Ludus or another profession in which they will have the chance to use their power. We also ask that the healers be on sim 2 or 3 times a week. If a healer goes missing without letting the admins know and others want that spot, they could be in danger of losing the power.

To use your element you should have the element with you, however for ones like fire ( as we don't have lighters) something burned will work ( a charred stick from a fire the night before)
All elemental powers begin with minor manipulation this just means you can't make a tidal wave, throw fire ball the size of a basket ball, create a tornado or send an earthquake through the whole island.
* Powers cannot be used on a character internally. If you can't see it you can't hit it. ( you can't make a person's blood boil)

What can I do starting off with the Water Element?
First you will choose the type of the water elemental to focus on. As you progress you will (if you want become strong in all three areas)
1. Water Healing
2. Water Divination
3. Water Manipulation

- May produce water to drink, (water is in the air).. you can make a glass, or even a bath. The larger the amount the more effect it will take on you.
- Have the ability to find any water source
- Can change fresh water to salt water and back
- Can breath under water
Water Healing
Level 1 - Water Seal
Water can be used to seal a wound small wounds until stitches can be given
Water Calm
Water can be used to soothe and relax a patient.. placed in a bowl or tub with the help of the water elementalist, the water can be made to
move in a wave motion. If the person focus' it puts the patient in a calm and relaxed state. This will allow the healer to fix the patient but not
enough for surgery.
Level 2 - Blood Control
Since there is water in blood the Water elementatlist will be able to stop any bleeding with their power an seal it with the water seal. The
wound will no bleed again (even when being stitched closed) unless the wound is broken back open.
Level 3 - Water Bubble
If a person is about to die and there is no time to get them the medicine or aid they need, the water elementalist can use water to create a bubble around the persons body. This bubble, will calm the person, slow their body down and preserve them until help can come. The water bubble will will not last more than four hours. ( This requires complete concentration and if it last the entire four hours the water elementalist will pass out. )

persons past.. Thinks snapshots of something that has happen.

Can speak through water to another person. For level one only 1 person will be able to hear the words through any moving water near them.
Level 2- In the Past Seeing
On this level the images in the water become more like stop action videos but choppy. Sound is starting to come through but the words are
garbled. The view can last up to a thirty seconds.

Can speak through moving water up to 3 people.
Level 3 - In the Past Seeing
On the 3rd level the images is completely clear and sound is perfect. This scene will last up to a minute

along with another person. No one can get through it. You can move with it but its takes concentration so only small steps. The wall will last
Four post rounds. This will be exhausting.

The water elementalist can turn a bucket or a tub worth of water into Ice or steam. If you create the water first you will need to wait some time

from water, the elementalist may use water already there ( which will give the elmentalist more strength to fight with them.
Level 3 - Water Cage
This will allow the player to create a water wall around an attacker. The wall will last three post rounds.
Water Axe
The water elementalist will be able to make on axe out of water. It will be as strong like a real axe and has the same weakness as the daggers.
Water Manipulation
The water elementalist can make ice and steam from larger amounts of water such as a pool. You will not be able to create your own water
form this level.

Water Wave- If you are in water such as the ocean, bath house, or oasis. You can create a wave with the water that will knock down a person. All you
need is your feet touching that body of water. Yes it can knock down a minotaur.

be used to create multiple waves no bigger than 8 feet. (In a bathhouse you will not get much use to this as the water will run out quickly.

Water Elemental Limits
Water Elementalist do not have enough power to create a tidal wave or anything that would cause mass destruction, even an attempt at something this large could cause the elementalist to die. If you have any questions in regards to what you can do please ask an admin.

How do I level up?
FIrst check out the Leveling up your Character (click the link for more information) to see how it works and what you have to do to qualify for a level up.
As an elementalist you have several choices in how you want to level up.
You may choose to master all three levels of the water focus you have chosen then move on to the next
or
You may choose to add the level 1 of the next focus instead leveling up.
For example, if you chose water healing.. then for the first level up you choose to add water divination. Both powers would remain at level 1. Next time level up you can add the third or level up one of the water focus' you have.
As an elementalist you have several choices in how you want to level up.

3. All power usage has a side effect depending on the amount of power used.
Pick one... fatigue, nausea etc.
Beyond that players can choose if they are more ritualistic or if it is just a simple matter of concentration.

Where do the powers come from?
All Mythians receive their powers from the island. In order for Mythians and the island to survive it is important for all Mythians to use their powers. The energy of the island moves in a cycle from the island, to the Mythians and back to the island again.
How do powers affect the character?
Power on Mythia is not unlimited. Using powers will cause one or more of the following nausea, fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision. The more power used the stronger and longer the effect will last. It is the player's choice of what side effects your character feels after using powers.
Example Side effects:
Minor amount of power used:
After using her power to directly heal a minor cut, the doctor would need to rest for thirty minutes ( RP Time , not rl time). Once she had time to relax the doctor slowly got up and fixed a small snack before starting to work again.
Large amount of power used:
He used his wind power to blow away those that were attacking him. For the time he was safe, as the adrenaline left, he slowly slid to the floor and passed out for a few hours.
We have not made a point or system for players to track how long the side effects work. We ask that all play fair with this rule an play accordingly
