AND SO IT BEGINS...
Many stories about the formation of the world start with the phrase “In the beginning....”. There are many myths or tales of how or who created Earth. For this story none of that matters. All that matters is the formation of a small island. As far as the Mythians go it just is. As the Earth formed this island it took on special characteristics. These characteristics were shared by only one other known place on Earth... Atlantis.

The Islands of Mythia and Atlantis are alive.
EARTH'S ENERGY
The Earth's core is made up of pure energy. The energy from the core is dispersed throughout the world. This energy is found in all living things. For most the inhabitants of the Earth the amount of direct energy they receive is small. If one is sensitive to it, they may have what is called a sixth sense. In later centuries those called witches would learn to harness and manipulate this energy. For most though, they are never even aware of it.
When these two islands were formed, they were connected directly to the Earth core. Instead of the energy being given in small quantities, Atlantis and Mythia were given an endless flow of it. How or why this happened is unknown. What is known is that the connection the island shared with the Earth brought the islands to life.

HOW IS THE ISLAND ALIVE?
The pure constant flow of energy into the island caused the islands to develop an awareness of the world around them. It could feel the pain and joy the Earth felt. Some may say the islands have a conscience. That is where the similarities between Atlantis and Mythia ended.
For those that lived on Atlantis the energy they absorbed gave the inhabitants intelligence and knowledge far beyond that of humans during those first centuries of the world. The Atlanteans were able to develop technology that wouldn't be seen again for a few thousand years. The island itself thrived as long as its people did.
On Mythia the island moved at a slower pace. The tribes of Mythia developed like the rest of the world. The island made an effort to protect its people and keep them removed from the rest of the world. Over time just like the Atlanteans, the exposure to the energy began to change the people and the animals that lived on its shore. Not only their appearance changed but they were each gifted with unique powers.

LIFE OF A LIVING ISLAND
A living Island is only alive as long as the energy is continuously flowing. The energy must be pushed out before returning to the island. Positive energy allows the island to thrive, while negative energy causes the island pain. As the connection to the Earth is right at the core the energy directly affects the Earth. Too much negative energy will cause too much damage to the Earth. For the Earth to elevate the pain it must get rid of the cause. This happened in 9400 BC when the Earth removed the island of Atlantis from existence.
MOTHER MYTHIA
As more and more humans inhabited the world, the Island of Mythia began to feel the drain on the Earth. The island wanted to protect itself and the tribes that lived on it. The island used the energy to build a barrier around the island. This invisible barrier blocks out the view from the outside world. If ships on the outside came near it would push against the ships forcing them to turn in another direction. The Mythians were not trapped behind the barrier but had no reason or desire to leave the island. The island in many ways acted like a mother to the tribe of Mythians. It provided the tribes with all they needed. The barrier to hide and keep away ships also helped protect the island from large storms. At the most the tribes only experience thunderstorms. This protection given to them by the island meant they didn't need much shelter. For the thunderstorms the tribes would move down into the caves until the storm was over.
As long as the Mythian Tribes used their powers the island maintain a perfect place for them to live. This Utopia was the beginning of Mythian Society.
THE FIRST
Little is known about the first inhabitants of Mythia. Mythian scholars have debated who or how the first tribes of Mythians were started. In trying to determine who the first tribes were Mythian Scholars have come up with two theories. One theory is that the first Mythians were humans that found the way to the island. The other theory is that the island created the first tribes on its own. Regardless of how the first Mythians came to be, the tribes and the island were connected
THE CONNECTION
Overtime a symbiotic relationship formed between tribe members and the island. As the tribe grew and evolved the flow of the energy began stronger. The energy began to change the people.
At first, the effects were small, the color of skin slightly changing to a different hue or eyes and hair changing color. Then came the more dramatic changes, horns, wings but none of these new looks made them appear half beast. The island made a distinction between the tribe members and the animals they brought to the island. The tribe members became Domaci. The animals became the beast.
The powers the gained helped them leave and survive on the island. The Mythians used their power to help energize the island and the Mythians were given the power to do so in return. The island treated the Mythians and the beast as its children, yet the island had a price for the power it offered its children. It offered an innate dulling to their new-found strengths, a sort of mild binding so that no one Mythian could ever become so powerful they could influence more than they ever should. The island thrives.

TIME MOVES DIFFERENTLY
Time on the island moved at a different pace, what was a century to humans on the mainland was only 10 years to a Mythian. This gave the residents of the island longer ‘lives’ but most importantly here and now it gave a Mythian much longer lives. Their bodies never aged and a Mythians could remain youthful for 500 Mythian years. At that point, they would hear the ‘call of the island.’ It is not something they could fight or resist. The Mythian would then return to the woods and simply lay down to become one with the island, or as a human would say, die.
POPULATION ON THE ISLAND GREW
Overtime the tribes of Mythia grew in size, different groups naturally formed based on how the island had changed them. The Mythians considered themselves as one family but in every family sometimes there were arguments. The islands energy began to waiver as the Mythians started to fight with one another. The negative energy they were giving off caused the Earth pain. The crystals lights started to fade and so did their powers. The Mythians could feel the shift in the island and it scared them. They realized something had to change. To settle their arguments the Mythian Council was formed.
THE MYTHIAN COUNCIL
Twelve Mythians were chosen to serve on the first council. This council brought forth order, their way of life, assigning jobs to one and all to guarantee survival and in return, the people of the island thrived. The Mythians continued to evolve and so did the Mythian council. The council members were given more and more power. The Council provided guidance, protection, and order to the islanders. Once order was restored the crystal's lights became bright again. The Council then declared the only one law. That law being everyone does their share. The council then assigned jobs all with the idea of keeping the island alive and so this brought great prosperity to the island.
EVERYONE DOES THEIR SHARE
The Mythian Council realized that many of the arguments came from one Mythian feeling another hadn't done his/her fair share of the work. The Council decided it would be best if everyone had a job and do it. They council began assigning jobs in order to make sure everyone did their fair share. Those that didn't and interrupted the peace found themselves working harder and without choice. After sometime the Mythians fell into line with what and how things needed to be done. The peace was fully restored.
In 9400 BC the world was hit with the largest storm and earthquakes it had ever seen. Everyone including the Mythian felt the full force of the when it screamed out in a long loud voice. That scream being the end of Atlantis.
Atlantis wasn't like Mythia. It didn't hide from the world. As its society grew at a quick rate, it opened its doors to all that find their way to the island. Some remained on the island and others went back to their home countries. Stories of the mythical Atlantis and their wondrous world found their way to the rest of the world.
There are no stories as to what caused the Earth to destroy Atlantis as there were no survivors. One day the Earth had enough and swallowed it whole.
Overtime, those that had visited Atlantis either forgot or were labeled crazy as no one could find this place of legend.
When the Earth swallowed Atlantis, it caused hurricanes, flooding, tsunamis, and earthquakes all over the world. Not even the barrier on the island of Mythia could not prevent the storm or the tsunami that hit its shores.
From accounts written by the Mythians that survived the storm there was no warning. The skies went dark in a matter of minutes, the feel of the energy from the island shifted to that of fear and sorrow. All the Mythians felt this and ran from the cave. The Mythians that were in the center of the island, near the woods and oasis made it into the caves. Those along the shorelines were not so lucky. The island was not unable to stop the wave or the destruction along the shoreline, but it was able to put a barrier up that prevented the caves from flooding. Those inside the cave survived. The Mythians remained in the caves for days as the water receded. The island did its best to heal itself, but it was weak from the events that had taken place. Around half of the island's population died that day. As the Mythians emerged from the caves much of the plant life was gone and what little structures they had built were nowhere to be found. It was on the shoreline however that they made a discovery. A human man had washed up on Mythia. He as the first person off the island that any of the Mythians had ever seen.

The Mythians were not scared of the man as he lay unconscious in the sand. The island was not happy having an intruder on the shore but there was nothing it could do. Out of curiosity and sympathy for the human, the Mythians nursed him back to health. The man lived on the island for years, telling stories of his home and teaching the Mythians things such as building boats bigger than canoes and writing. At first it was hard for the Mythians and the man to communicate having not spoken the same language but over time the man learned Mythian and the Mythian's learned his language.
The story of the storm and the man were the first known documents in which Mythians tried to write about. Many of the details such as where the man came from were not recorded. There was mention that he wanted to go home but he had also realized that the energy on the island was changing him as it had done to the first Mythians. The man began talks of taking the Mythians to his world and show them the world they had never seen. The island still rejected the stranger being on the island and talk of taking the Mythians away from the island didn't make things better.
The island could not stop the energy that the man took in from eating the food or water but it could change the flow of energy into him. This shift in flow was enough to cause the man's body to reject the energy. The Mythians didn't understand what was happening to the man or how to save him. The rejection of the injury eventually led to his death. The man never made it home.

When the man died, the Mythians held a funeral for him. They did their best to follow the man's description of what a funeral was. The idea of a funeral was new to the Mythians. The man had requested to be born and for those the Mythian's to celebrate his life.
This was a strange request as a Mythian's death is very personal and private. At the end of a Mythian's life, the Mythian tells those the loved their goodbyes. A special horn would sound to clear the woods. The dying Mythian would either walk into the woods or be carried in to the location of their choice. The Mythian lays down and within a few hours, their bodies turns to stone. Their energy would return to the island.
The Mythians did their best to honors the man's request and gave him a funeral.
Even though the man was dead, his influence continued to effect those on the island. The idea of a bigger world excited the Mythians. The council made the decision that a group of explorers would be sent out into the world. This group would go out for a year and then return to Mythia to tell what they had learned.

THE MYTHIAN EXPLORERS
There were six teams of explorers set out into the world. The Mythian's chose their groups based on the skills and attributes. First the council called for volunteers. The leaders of the six teams were chosen and the others were assigned to the leader based on their abilities to work well with one another.

- Cronus led his group to the shore of Greece. Others that traveled with him were Oceanus, Phoebe and Rhea
- Dadga led her group north and landed in Hibernia and the other Celtic areas. Others on this team were Morrigan, Danu and Belenus
- Osiris led the group that landed in Egypt. Other in this team were Ra, Horus and Seth
- Aka Manah led his group to Iran. Others in his team were Daeva, Atar and Baga.
- Odin led his team north but found themselves near Norway. Others in his team were Freya and Loki.
- Indra led his team to India. Others on his team were Surya, Shachi and Vishnu.
UPON ARRIVAL
When the ships arrived at the different locations around the ancient world, the response of the humans was the same. At first the humans were afraid and panicked. Those that could fight threatened the Mythians with weapons. This was not a surprise to the Mythians, the man had warned them that their appearance would scare most humans. The Mythian explorers remained calm. Only if the humans became aggressive were their powers used but not to hurt the humans but to stop them. This strategy used by the Mythians Explorers proved to be a powerful one. Once they displayed their powers the humans fell to their knees, asking for mercy, and declaring the Mythian's as Gods.
CONTACT AMONG THE SIX GROUPS
in each group their was a Mythian that had speed as one of their powers, Hermes and Apollo to name a few. These Mythians could travel across the land and sea at fast paces. In fact some of the explorers felt they were faster in the world of the humans then when they were on the island. The messengers could take letters and information among the groups quickly. This correspondence among the groups allowed them to share their experiences and make decisions without the Mythian Councils knowledge. There first decision was to change their names limit what they share with the Mythian Council.
IT'S ALL IN A NAME
When the Mythians landed on the shores of the different countries, their appearance and use of power amazed and frightened the humans. It didn't take long before the humans were honoring the different groups as more than just visitors. The communications through the use of messengers helped them realize the power they had over the humans. They had also made note that their powers seemed stronger. The stories of war, the sights of those in poverty or enslaved led the Mythian Explorers to believe they were better than the humans. Therefore, the human should address them with respect not as equals. The Mythians Explorers all decided to change their names to their titles on Mythia. Their titles reflected their power and what their jobs were... A few of the changes were Aegicoros which to the human was known as Cronus Desponia changed her name to Daeva and Basillides became Ra.
Example: A Bacchaus on Mythia made the wine. Their true names were lost when they became the Ancient Gods. When Mythians heard of this they stopped using those titles. It became confusing to the humans. They adapted the versions of the titles from the different languages of the people that arrive on the island. The only people that use the titles now are members of the councils (Elder and Remnant)

MYTHIAN EXPLORERS PHONE HOME
As part of the agreement with the Mythian Council, the six groups would report back to the council. The Council and Explorers came up with a way to keep time even with the difference. If the Explorers didn't respond back by a certain time. The Mythians Council would then send a rescue party out for them. The Mythian explorers wanted to make sure the council didn't send others out, so they sent messages back to the Council. They didn't use their messengers but ships. At first the different parties would send a representative back on a ship with humans. The Islanders would celebrate the return of their brethren. Information would be shared, and the Explorer would return to his/her port.
KEEPING SECRETS
The six groups would decide what was shared and what was not shared with the Mythian Council. Many of the stories shared were about the turmoil or struggles of the humans. At one point one of the representatives shared the fact that they were worshiped to a non-member of the council. When that representative left, the person they confided in went to the Council with this information. This was the first time the Council became suspicious of something more going on. The council sent a message back to the Six group asking them to explain. To appease the council, the Mythian Explorers, sent ships of new fabric, foods and materials from their countries. This established the first line of trade between the humans and Mythians. This seemed to appease the Mythian Council for a while but the Explorers new it was only a matter of time before it was brought up again. The group of six started to make plans.
THE STORIES
To strengthen their position as gods and goddesses among the human world, the Mythian Explorers tell tales of their abilities and accomplishments to the humans. These stories were things that had happened on the island but twisted them to fit each of their own narratives. For example, Cronus claimed that he had a hand in creating the world. The humans shared these stories and as they did, they began to form their own mythologies. Priestess and Priest began to write down the stories and spread them as fact. The Mythian Explorers were careful to share what stories they used with each other. They encouraged the humans they had influence over that other mythologies were wrong, and they shouldn't listen to false stories. This allowed the Explorers to share similar stories using different Explorers as the heroes.
CHANGING OF THE GUARD
As time passed fewer and fewer representatives would make the return trip home. They would send ships with gifts and news that were manned by humans. These humans were presented with a special jewel that acted as a beacon to the island. At first these humans were loyal to the ones that they followed. The Mythians Explorers made the mistake by using the same humans over and over again. These humans began to realize the similarities among the island Mythians and the ones at their home. On the island they would be offered food and drink. In partaking, the energy they absorbed from food and drink this extended their life and kept them younger. Over time the humans on these ships realized this, as those around them in the human world began to age and they did not. These humans saw the advantage of going to the island. Their own fountain of youth. They didn't want the privilege of visiting the island to be taken from them.
The humans took advantage of the situation to gain trust from the Mythian Council and still present to the Explorers that they were still loyal to them. Neither group of Mythians every suspected that the humans would try to manipulate the situation to their advantage.
By the time the two different parties realized the deception from the human sailors it was to late.

HUMANS GAIN AN ADVANTAGE
It didn't take long for the human sailors to realize that the Mythian Explorers were hiding things from those on the island. The Mythian Explorers had gone back to convincing the Council that they were simply observing and making friends with humans. The human saw this as a lie because the Mythian explorers had taken positions of powers and had begun to demand human worship and bow before them. The sailing ships from the different areas would occasionally cross paths and just as the group of six had shared information, these sailors did the same.
After speaking to those on the island, the humans also realized that the islanders didn't agree or like the stories in which war, or harm to other humans by humans were told. The sailors decided to drop hints to the Mythian Council that all was not as it seemed. It was told that the Mythian Explorers had begun to embrace the human way. Stories of them killing humans for sport and taking seats of power were exaggerated. The humans made deals with the Council to provide more information. These deals included them coming to the island and establishing the first trade routes. These deals benefited the sailors and they didn't care about the damage it caused the Mythians.
As for the Mythians Explorers the sailors would return with stories of the Mythian Council receiving their messages and believing them all. The sailors would tell the Explorers of the materials the Mythian Council had requested, and the Explorers would provide the sailors with those materials to take back to Mythia.
Neither the Council nor the Mythian Explorers had reason to believe the sailors were deceiving them after all humans wouldn't lie.

THE STORY OF CALLIMACHUS
At first the Council didn't know how to handle the situation Were their own people lying to them? Had they been corrupted by the humans?
They had to know for sure so they sent out another group of Explorers this time with a simple mission to find out the truth. This group was lead by the Mythian named Callimachus. He traveled to the main land with his brothers and sisters. This group landed in Greece. They were changelings and often stayed in animal form to watch their brethern. Callimachus and his group confirmed the worship and stories of the humans but not for the benefit of the council but just as the first Explorers had been seduced by the increase of power they wanted it too. They wanted to be the ones in charge.
This group did return to the island and confirmed the humans stories and even adding their own. In their version Cronus had become dangerous to the Mythian's and the humans. This Mythian needed to be removed.

THE FRACTURE
At this news the Mythian Council fractured, the arguing ensued on the proper way to handle this situation. The Council was split right down the middle. One side believed that the Mythians should be recalled to Mythia and that outside contact with humans should end. Those that agreed with this idea became known as the Elders. The other side felt that they should enslave the human world, if the Mythian Explorers had taken charge of the humans so could they. If they were in charge that could stop the wars and the harm the humans were doing. This way of thinking became that of the Remnants. The rest of the Mythians began to choose sides based on what they had heard.
After years of debate the Mythians had come to the decision that bringing all Mythians home to hear from them personally would be the best course of action. The Remnants did not brace this idea but realized the stress was starting to show on the island. The crystals did not seem as bright.

'THE PLAN
The plan was simple Callimachus would lead a group of selected Mythians to the mainland. They would arrive and tell the Mythian Explorers by order of the council they had to return to Mythian. Callimachus insisted on starting in Greece and dealing with Cronus first. Then once they had gathered all the members of the six groups they would return to Mythian.
CALLIMACHUS' PLANS
Callimachus had the full trust of the council so when they went along with his idea of bringing all the Mythian Explorers back they didn't question why it wanted to lead the expedition or why he chose certain Mythians to go with him such as Agapi. She was more beautiful than a fighter.
Callimachus and his group arrived in Greece just as he had planned but instead of bringing back the Mythians he attacked Cronus. Some of the other Mythian Explorers came to Cronus's aid while others were in shock as they witnessed the death of Cronus. Messages were sent to the other five groups to come pay homage to their new leader or face the same fate as Cronus.
The Mythian Explorers were in shock as in their lifetime they had never heard of a Mythian killing another Mythian.
Once all the Mythians were together Callimachus told them of the Mythian Councils plan to force them back to the island forever. He convinced them that if they didn't stop the council now, they would be in constant turmoil with those on the island. Callimachus had found a way to curse the island and imprison those on it as he did not want to have to worry about other Mythians coming after them.
Callimachus had known it was the humans that had caused the Council to send him to find out the truth. He knew those sailors were no longer trusted but could use them for his own benefit. One last message was sent to Mythia.

THE FINAL MESSAGE
Callimachus had no desire to lie anymore to the Mythians on the island nor did he want any harm to come to them however, he didn't want to share his power or be under the control of the council anymore.
The sailors that had delivered the messages between the Mythian Council and the Mythian Explorers were called on to bring this message to Mythia. It simply said..
"The world outside the island is bigger than you can imagine. The power we have flows freely and we have decided we no longer want to be under any ones control. It is time you forget about us. Live your own lives on the island. We are no longer Mythians. We are the Gods and Goddess' of this world."

IT'S TO LATE....
When the letters arrived in Mythia, it was already too late. The Gods and Goddess had already cursed the island, using their combined energy to prevent any Mythian from leaving the island. The Mythian Council tried to send others to go and stop this madness, force the others to come home only to find they could not leave. A barrier prevented them from going more than a mile away from the island shores.
THE ANCIENT WORLD GODS AND GODDESS'
As the Mythian Explorers had done before Callimachus and the others that had traveled with him changed their names. Callimachus would become Zeus and the story of how he defeated Cronus became part of the world's Mythology. As the stories were always twisted to fit the narrative of the storyteller it is unknown if Cronus was indeed Zeus' father but for the humans it made a better story. Agapi became known as Aphrodite. As Zeus made up his origin Aphrodite claimed to ride in on a seashell. So many others that had come with Zeus followed the example.
The Gods and Goddess would rule over their realms for many years. They would have many children and continue to tell stories and be worshiped by humans.
The Ancient Gods did not remove trade from the island. They continued to allow the humans to trade with the Mythians. This decision was not to be nice but to keep an eye on the Mythians to make sure they were never able to escape.

ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES THE GODS AND GODDESS.
Their desire to trap the other Mythians on the island was not done out of love or need but for selfish reasons. Their departure not only hurt those that cared about them but led to destruction of their own kind. It was something that these Ancient Gods never saw coming.
Ancient gods learned stories about the Mythians from the human sailors. For some the regret in the decision to do this was too much to bear. Their powers turned dark and they became the darker figures of Mythology.

The Consequences they learned about through humans...
The Mythians hate each and every one of them. It was made very clear that going back to the island was no longer an option. That it was said if any tried to come back, they would be put to death.
The humans also told them of the war, the fighting and the destruction that took place on the island during the years that followed the curse

THERE MYTHIANS WEREN'T THE ONLY ONES TRAPPED.
The curse caused the island a great deal of pain. It had to endure the fighting and arguing of the islander in the wake of the curse.
The island felt sadness as it had lost some of its children. The island does not want to lose any more of its children, so it embraced the curse that trapped the other Mythians on its shore. However, it could not forgive those that left.
As all the energy was connected, the island focused on the Mythians not on the island. The energy seeking each one of them out. When the energy burst hit them, they knew where it came from however they didn't know what it had done.
First the energy given back to the island severed their connection to the island and the other Mythians. It would be impossible for them to ever return. The island would not allow it. This would be a consequence they would not know for many years after the fact.
The energy blast not only prevented the Ancient Gods from returning but stopped them from sharing their powers with others. Prior to this energy blast when Ancient gods and goddesses had children, the child would be born with powers. The last child born with powers was Hercules. All children after Hercules were born human. The Ancient Gods were so disgusted with this that those born human were cast out and were never claimed by the gods.

It took a long time for the Mythians to come to grips with what had happened. They didn't understand why they couldn't leave. It wasn't until stories from the human sailors explained to them what the Ancient Gods had done.
This news devastated the Mythians how could people they love turn on them in such a manner. After they came to terms with it, the fighting began. It was the Remnants who were the first to blame the Elders. They felt that if they had gone along with their plan then they would all still be together ruling the world. The Elders didn't like being blamed so they turned on the Remnants stating if they had not argued with them in deciding about the Ancient Gods, they would not have had time to rebel. The arguing increased and a fight for control over the island began. This led to a devastating civil war.

All the Mythians ended up choosing a side. If they tried to avoid the conflict, they were automatically considered on the opposite side of whoever confronted them. This forced all Mythians to make a choice. When the fighting broke out, the sides were evenly matched. They were driven by who had caused these problems on the island.
The war dragged on for several months.

THE END OF THE MYTHIAN COUNCIL
Those that favored the Elders way of thinking moved toward the shoreline.
Those in line with the remnants took to the forest and caves.
The Mythian Council was resolved and two new councils were formed. The Elder Council and Remnant Council. These two councils lead their sides.

THE DEATH TOLL
As the fighting continued more and more Mythians were cut down and killed by each other. By the fourth month the death toll had surpassed that of the storm.
THE ISLAND
The fighting was tearing the island apart. The anger and resentment were too much for it. The crystals started to fade as soon as the fighting began. Their powers began to fade as well but it didn't stop the killing. The stories of humans and their wars had brought weapons to the island.
It was when the first crystal went dark that the fighting stopped. All Mythians felt it go. They stood there looking at one another.

THE END OF THE WAR
- Both Councils realized that they were going to destroy all Mythia if they continued but the anger was still there. They managed to start talks to end the war. Both councils agreed that there would never be one council again. The councils would rule over their own areas however one of the councils would be in charge over all the island.
- After counting their numbers, the Mythians realized they needed to replenish their population. The humans had spoken of the children of the Ancient gods. These stories help make the decision that the humans would be encouraged to come to the island. The island itself was not for this but it was too weak to fight it. The island did shift its energy so that only humans it reached out could find their way to the shores.
- Talks of how the Ancient Gods' powers were stronger than that Mythians came up. Through conversation with the sailors. The Mythians felt they needed the humans to worship them as well as bare their children.
- There were many Mythians still angry with one another. To help relieve the tension areas on the island were considered lawless and Mythians could take out their anger there as long as they did not kill another.
- As humans started to arrive and sailors brought slaves as trade, the Mythians began to make new laws and rules concerning them. The Elder Council gained control over the whole island by giving some concessions to the Remnants.
Concession given by the Elder Council to take initial control over the whole island were given:
- The Remnants would control the Captivus on the island
- The Remnants would have control over the all decision including laws and crimes in the woods and the village area.
- The Remnants needed to be at all council meetings that concerned the well-being of the whole island and their voice needed to be heard
- The Remnants would have control over The Marked.
The two councils still didn't agree with how the humans should be treated however the ruling Elder council insisted that the best way to get the humans to worship them was to let the humans believe they were equals. Comforts such as buildings, marketplaces and slaves were allowed. The face of the island began to change.
The Civil War ended 500 years ago but tension still lay just below the surface. There was not open fighting, but the division was still there. The island had following into a way of life, excepting in new humans as citizens and slaves. The Mythians had begun to enjoy some of the human culture but was very cautious in allowing different aspects of human culture to be allowed on the island. The ships still came delivering new goods. The Mythians had learned how to turn a human or prevent a human from turning. The crystals had returned to being bright. Some Mythians still worked on how to break the curse to free themselves. The one thing they all shared in was the hate for the Ancient Gods. The year is now 70AD will the island continue to prosper or are dark times once again on the horizon.
Man existed and so did the island of Mythia... for this story we do not know what or who created man or the Mythians. The Mythians were the first beings worshiped to be Gods. * Time acts different for the residence of the island to those on the mainlands. Large amounts of time went by but communication was always upheld.
