The Harbor Master holds a respected and important position in Mythia. They oversee the various Pirates and Traders that come to Mythia. They oversee the Docks as well as register all new Citizens to the Island. They mingle and work with the various Bounty Hunters as well as register all Captured. Governors and business owners often make requests of the Harbor Master, but in the end, they answer only to themselves and the Council. All of this, and more, is all under the watchful eye of the Harbor Master and their staff.

The OOC as the Harbor Master you and your employees are the first contact on sim for humans. They will act as the liaison between the pirates and traders, with the Governors, and reports to the Elder Council. They will hire a staff to help run the docks when the Harbor Master is unavailable.
Perks of the Job: The Harbor House on sim is yours to run as a home or business. (Prim count is given when you have been approved for the job).

The Harbor Master and staff are the first people all Humans meet on the island. When a new player arrives, the Lion Guard and dock workers will direct the Human to the Harbor Master’s Office. The Harbor Master or a Staff Member will interrogate the newcomers (alone or separately) as well as record the Human’s stories or report anything interesting to the Council/Governor. They will explain the Rules and Laws of the Island (link is below) and provide newcomers with a small snack along with one piece of Eternity fruit. (if the person doesn't eat the piece of fruit, the Harbor Master can choose to force the fruit or send them to the Medicus and have them force the fruit).
After the Harbor Master (or their Staff) are finished with the new arrival, they will assign a Lion Guard (player or NPC) to escort the Human to the Medicus for a medical evaluation. (The guard is not mean or cruel but will make sure the Human does as they are told.)
Generally, after the third day has come, the Harbor Master will send for the recent arrival to check on them. This is done to ensure the arrival is adjusting and has gained a job. Those that do not have a job, or are not adjusting well, may be taken to the Custos to be held as a Captivus until a trial.

Eternity Fruit- This is a small blue fruit that is only grown on Mythia. Once a piece of the fruit has been eaten, the human is trapped on the island as the Mythians are. This fruit is grown secretly and kept under lock and key. For humans this fruit will play a part in them becoming Mythian when the time comes. Only certain council members have access to the fruit. Pirates and Traders are not given the fruit until they retire on the island.
OOC - As the Harbor Master it may not be possible for you to be on SIM every time a new person comes to Mythia. We highly recommend hiring staff that can represent you when you cannot be around. As Harbor Master you will get control over how your employees will work for you, the different jobs you hire people for on the docks etc. We also recommend you hire a person to be your number #1 in case the Harbor Master is needed for a decision and you are unavailable.
BOUNTY HUNTERS
Those that make their trade as a professional Bounty Hunter are required to register with the Harbor Master. Their ranking and captures will be recorded by the Harbor Master and made both legal and official. Bounty Hunters take great pride in their skills and abilities, it is here that they will earn their claim to fame and fortune.
All Bounties will be processed through the Harbor Master. From there, they will be posted and passed around to the various Bounty Hunters. Any person may take out a Bounty on another, if it is approved and registered. Payment of the Bounty is due upon registration, and all Bounty payments will be paid to the Hunters by the Harbor Master, or their representative.
Bounty Hunter rankings will be established by the Harbor Master and posted for all to see as it is updated. Higher ranking Bounty Hunters often demand a higher fee, as their prowess grows.
