Lion Guard and the Lord Commander
The Lord Commander holds an honored and respected position in Mythia. It is imperative that the Lord Commander holds a neutral view to the various people, factions, and businesses on the island. The law applies to all evenly on Mythia, and personal feelings and beliefs are always secondary to justice. Duty above all things. Governors often make requests of the Lord Commander, but in the end, they answer only to the Ruling Council.
- The Lord Commander position is open to any gender or race.
- The Lord Commander is responsible for many important duties. Primary among these, is being the leader of the Lion Guard.
- They are responsible for enforcing the laws of the land, both in the main Town, as well as the surrounding areas, such as the Village. This is accomplished primarily through the Lion Guard, but the Lord Commander is where all responsibility for these tasks ultimately rest.
- They oversee all prisoners and arrests that are required.
- The Lord Commander carries out all sentencing of those accused of crimes.
- As the Commander of the Lion Guard, the Lord Commander is responsible for the creation of their own Command Staff as well as the recruitment, hiring, and training of the Lion Guard.
There are numerous NPC Lion Guards stationed around the Town and Village. In addition, the Lord Commander has a small elite group of five (5) Lion Guards that always travel as bodyguards with him/her.
OOC Information
The Lord Commander has control of all Lion Guards, and the NPCs that are stationed around the island. As Lord Commander, they set the rules for the men and women under their command. They answer only to the Ruling Council although through RP, people may petition the Lord Commander for various tasks or investigations. The Lord Commander is responsible for creating schedules, as well as assigning areas for the Lion Guard to patrol. They are in charge of setting up training sessions and set up the various rules/requirements for members of the Lion Guard. Equipment
All clothing and equipment must be time-appropriate. Greek, Roman, Spartan, Egyptian, or Norse clothing, armor, and weapons are highly encouraged. Modern weapons and armor (such as firearms) are not allowed. The Lord Commander receives a room in the Garrison for their home. Prim count is given when approved for the position. |
