THE BASIC POWER OF EMOTION WEAVING
The Emotional Weaving Power allows the user to transfer emotions to another player. This can be used to help or create chaos.
The power is not mind control but emotional control. You will be able cause others to feel different emotions or intensify ones the player is already experiencing.
Note to Players:
In order to balance the powers, some emotions are feeling cannot be triggered with this power. This is due to other powers having something similar. We want the powers to be unique and not overlapping.
This is a restricted Power.. currently we are only allowing 2 players on sim to have it. The number will increase as the population on sim grows. Please check with an admin before applying to see if the power is available.

STARTING OUT ABILITIES
First you will choose the type of the Emotional Weaving to focus on. As you progress you will (if you want become strong in all three areas)

- All players start off with the ability to use the five main emotions: Fear, Sadness, Joy, Anger and Disgust.
- Those use this power all have the ability to block others from knowing you own emotions or wants.
EMOTIONAL TOUCH
EMOTIONAL TOUCH LEVEL 1
TOUCH ME BABY ONE MORE TIME
The player will simply place a hand on any of their body parts touching the player they want to use the power on. The player may choose one of the 5 emotions and transfer that to him/her. This will last for up to 4 post rounds
This can be used on 1 person a day.

FINGER LICKING GOOD
For level one you may place one of the five emotions into an inanimate object such as food or drink (anything that is consumed) and pass it off to the player. If the player eats or drinks the item.. Even just a little taste, the emotion will be transferred to them. The effect of the emotion will last up to 4 post rounds
For this power the limitations is how many baked items or drinks. (Not people)
FOOD
You will only be able to infuse 1 recipe a day.. Only 4 goods will have the power. (you make 12 muffins.. Only 4 will be potent). Or you can make 1 cookie to give to one special person. The energy is added during the cooking process. .
When they are eaten.. You will not be able to tell which of the twelve are potent.. As the energy was pushed into the dough or raw recipe. All those that eat it will have to roll. The rolls will be individual.. The 4 with the lowest rolls get affected by the power. If there is a tie, they reroll. Till one wins.
DRINKS
In level one your power will work on a pitcher's worth of liquid.. Based on a pitcher of beer (12 oz) and the glasses being 4 oz glass.. Only 3 people will be affected. This would apply to wine as will. (Hands must be placed on the pitcher of the container.. Can choose to do just one glass as well)

TAKE ANOTHER LITTLE PIECE OF MY EMOTION
The user may lessen or add to a feeling that is already apparent in the user. (The user can’t sense emotion… however just like everyone they can act on the obvious. This may require so ooc chatting if the emotion hasn’t been clearly stated)

PEOPLE CHARMING
The user may use song, instrument or dance to bring on certain emotions or feelings. This is not mind control however if done correctly could cause the biggest man to begin to sobbing uncontrollably. One of the 5 basic Emotions. Anger, Sadness, Joy, Disgust, or Fear.
Instruments and Song
This requires eye contact with the person you are using the power on so you can funnel the energy to them. At least three times or constant eye contact.
Dance
The user will use a combination of eye contact and touch to transfer the energy into them. The most consistent touch or eye contact the more effective the power will be.. For Example a lap dance.. Would have a stronger effect than a ballet with touching every few seconds.. (A second roll will be used to determine the strength of this)

THE SEVEN DEADLY EMOTIONS
For this user can invoke one of the seven deadly emotions upon a user.. Greed, Envy, Anger, Lust, Pride, Sloth and gluttony. This requires hand and eye contact along with complete concentration on from both the player and the user. (This wouldn’t be easily done in public) Once the mental connection is made through eye contact, and touch, the user will whisper the name of the one sin. This will power will take over the person for one day. The power will not allow the player to kill or harm another but will push the limits. This power can be combated by the Medicus..but it would require a friend getting the affected person to not be able to think rationally.

The person will immediately act as if the emotion is what they are feeling for 3 post rounds. After three post rounds they will be left standing there confused.

The player the power is being used on can choose if it blocks the emotion so they have no response or if it gives them the opposite one. Example Lyon give Lex a present.. The user blocks Lex’s emotion in how she feels about the present. Lex then gives no reaction to the gift.. Lyon gets her feeling hurt…

In order to cause a distraction, the user can project one of the basic 5 emotions on another person (20 meters) and with eye contact. If the power wins the role.. The person will immediately act as if the emotion is what they are feeling for 3 post rounds. After three post rounds they will be left standing there confused. Can project Emotion on to a maximum of 3 people at a time.
EMOTIONS WEAVERS LIMITS
- This is not a mind control power but an emotional control power. That means that you cannot make a person DO anything.. Other than FEEL a certain way.
- The user cannot control how a person reacts to the emotion.. Example.. Some people get mad.. Cry. because they are so angry they need time to cool off.. Where others might throw a punch. The user will not be able to dictate that reaction
- A user cannot make a person feel in anyway .. towards the user. If tried the power will back fire and the exact opposite of the emotion you are trying to invoke on the person will be how the person will feel about you. ( At no point can a player make someone fall in love)
- Emotional Weavers can give the players the basic emotions.. Happiness, Sad, Anger, Fear and Disgust.
- Complicated Emotions such as love, arousal, loyalty, etc.. are not available with this power as other powers utilize them.
- This power cannot be used on Animals or plants. (It can be used on the Beast, however if the changling is in animal form you power will not work on them)
HOW DO I USE THIS POWER?
- Two post to use your power
- First post to pull energy
- Pushing your power towards whoever you are using it on.
- Dice roll is used for this power. ( Unless both players agree)
Example:
User : Post attempting to make eye contact or physical contact
Both players roll. High roll wins.
If the user is successful, contact is made.. If not they can try again.
Player: post according to the dice roll
Users: post a second attempt or the use of the power.
Player responds accordingly. (if the user has won the 2 rolls at this point, the power works. If the user has not won 2 rolls, the players will roll again. 2 out of three rolls is the winner.
OPTIONAL:
To keep things fair players can use the dice to tell how strong the power is. The last set roll in which the User won will determine the strength. 10 is max strength.. 5 is mid level.
Note:
The User in this power gives the emotion the player will feel. It is up to the player how they react to it.
If a player loses a roll in which a power is being used on them, we expect all players to play fair and not downplay the effects of the power. This will lead to roleplay warnings if this happens frequently.. Be a good sport and take the hit if you lose the dice.
ROLLING FOR PEOPLE CHARMER
When using this one multiple people... multiple rolls will need to be made. For each person three rolls.. ( 2 if user whens the first too). Players may consent without having to roll. (this can be player by player choice). Each time eye contact or touch is attempted the dice should be rolled.
The eye contact and hand contact is how the power is delivered. Every time the eye/hand contact is made a dose of the power is used on the person. The eye/hand contact needs to take place during the music. Check the number of eye/hand contact is needed for each level.

Where do the powers come from?
All Mythians receive their powers from the island. In order for Mythians and the island to survive it is important for all Mythians to use their powers. The energy of the island moves in a cycle from the island, to the Mythians and back to the island again.
How do powers affect the character?
Power on Mythia is not unlimited. Using powers will cause one or more of the following nausea, fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision. The more power used the stronger and longer the effect will last. It is the player's choice of what side effects your character feels after using powers.

Minor amount of power used:
After using her power to directly heal a minor cut, the doctor would need to rest for thirty minutes ( RP Time , not rl time). Once she had time to relax the doctor slowly got up and fixed a small snack before starting to work again.
Large amount of power used:
He used his wind power to blow away those that were attacking him. For the time he was safe, as the adrenaline left, he slowly slid to the floor and passed out for a few hours.
We have not made a point or system for players to track how long the side effects work. We ask that all play fair with this rule an play accordingly
