The Custos holds a respected and important position in Mythia. They oversee all dealings with Captivus at some point. They oversee the Caeceredum Domus as well as create rules associated with said location. They are responsible for assigning all Captivus jobs around the Town and Village as well as bring in said Captivus when they have been captured or attempted escape. Their most important task however is one shrouded in mystery – the oversight and control of the Marked.
- The Custos position is open to any gender or race.
- They are responsible for many important duties. Primary among these, is regulating everything dealing with the Captivus and Marked.
- They are responsible for assigning Captivus jobs throughout the island.
- They are responsible for the set and control of all collars and bracers on Mythia.
- The Caeceredum Domus is their domain, and they alone are responsible for the oversight, upkeep, and rules pertaining to that location.
- The Cutos takes a lead role in the organization and implementation of certain special events – namely, the Adduco, the Auctio and the Commodatum.
- Since they oversee all things that occur with the Captivus, the Custos is responsible for the creation of their own Staff as well as their recruitment, hiring, and training.
- The Custos has the control of six (6) NPC Lion Guard that come along with the job. These Guard will assist (if needed) in dealing with Captivus that refuse to follow the rules.
This is not a sexual role unless you want it to be. Men and women are welcome to apply. The Captivus can't escape the island so they are not kept under heavy guard unless they are being punished. Despite this, the Custos have NPC guards to assist them. Captivus are expected to follow the instruction of the Custos or in character consequences can happen. See links below.
(NPC guards can only be RPed by the Custos, his/her staff and the admin. Use of them by other players will be considered void and an RP warning of godmoding will be given.)
Perks of the Job: The two lead Custos will share the upper floor of the Carceredum domus as their home and works space rent free.
The Custos does hold power and/or sway among both Councils as well as the other lead characters (governors, harbor master, etc.) on the island.

A CUSTOS WELCOME
All Captivus will find themselves in front of the Custos at some point. Either they were captured and turned over the Custos for payment, or possibly they are a criminal and arrested by the Lion Guard. Regardless of the reason, the Custos will explain all the perks and rules of being a Captivus to that person.

Life can be good or harsh in the Caeceredum Domus, depending on the actions of the Captivus as well as the actions of the Custos. There is a living area found where all Captivus normally reside. It is highly encouraged that the Captivus create RolePlay here and make it a living community.
