The OOC:
We have limited the number of healers and set rules for potion making in order to keep the medical roleplay in the Medicus. Those found trying to heal others or using potions that have not gone through the Medicus in some form are in danger of being arrested. If the Lead Medicus finds out of illegal medical use then he/she has the right to turn those players in in-character.
The Lead Medicus will get to do a little of everything from setting rules and standards for his/her staff or patients. Train people in the medical field, Choose who in the Medicus can assists with healing and create herbal remedies to sale or use. ( Bartering or Coins).
The Lead Medicus has the ability to close off the Medicus from visitors and quarantine a player that has a disease. All other things such as restraints will be done with consent.
NPC of the Lead Medicus (Only inside the Medicus)
5 Lion Guards (2 stationed at the door)
Up to 3 nurses, interns or Captivus at a time.
Potion Making
The Medicus Lead will have the ability and skill to make potions and other herbal remedies. To spread the love we are allowing other players to make herbal remedies (non magical ones). Herbal Remedies may bot be duplicated and need to be tested in the Medicus in order to be sold legally. The Medicus Lead can hire Herbal potion makers for the Medicus or buy from independent makers. The Medicus Lead can also hire those that can teach herbal remedy making as well.
Intern/Apprentice
The Medicus lead can hire up to three players to serve as his/her interns or apprentices. These players are learning how to do herbal healing.
An intern will not be able to take over a medical situation unless the current doctors are unavailable for roleplay. The Interns however should be working close with the doctors/healers in order to learn. As the sim grows in numbers they will be promoted to doctors if they are active players on sim.
The Medicus Lead will be responsible for facilitating the interns training.
Perks of the Job: You get a room in the Medicus for your home. (Prim count is given when you have been approved for the job)
